About the event
Production design is one of the most overlooked but essential parts of filmmaking. It’s the world your characters live in, the atmosphere, the emotional temperature, the detail that silently guides the story. When it’s done well, you feel it before you notice it.
This full-day Skills Masterclass is led by Luke Moran-Morris, the production designer behind A24’s How to Have Sex, Apple TV’s All of You, and music videos for Radiohead, Wolf Alice, and Loyle Carner. His work is known for realism touched with poetry, spaces shaped around character, emotion, and the truth of the moment.
The day is built to give you a working sense of how production designers think, plan, experiment, and collaborate. It’s hands-on, practical, and rooted in the reality of how films get made.
You’ll break down a script, build visual language, learn how to transform spaces using limited resources, and understand how design becomes one…
