About the event
A message can change a room without altering anything physical inside it. Once it has been heard or seen, a character begins to read the same space differently, and the audience starts searching it for a threat that may never be explained.
Pulse and Cure reach that unease from different directions. In Pulse, a ghost becomes visible but remains impossible to understand. Cure keeps the influence harder to locate, allowing conversation and sound to change the balance of the room. Sammy Holden will compare selected extracts and ask which holds more power: seeing the threat or only sensing it.
For the group task, we will first map how a character understands an ordinary room. A message of no more than twelve words or ten seconds will then enter the scene, either on paper, through a recording or from somewhere inside the space.
